draw

space full of waterless sea

nothing in sight

no one to mind

only me

held still

through the moves

of waves pushing me under-

-neath i am kept

in a place most serene

when suddenly lightning strikes—

and the tide draws in-

-to the dark well of your eye

looking over the sky in blue

light of the night as it pulls

deep inside all that is

bare and not tied

down onto the seabed

but nothing is there only me

through thickness i float into thee—

deep inside where no eye can see

deep inside me
